Room Booking and Fees

When you request room booking through us, we will handle it personally and try our best to get you the confirmation as soon as possible. In order for us to better serve genuine travelers and discourage false booking requests, we have started charging one night's room fee and processing & PayPal fee; details of all fees are shown on the Booking page.

1. ROOM NOT CONFIRMED
   In case we are unable to send you booking confirmation after you made payments and sent us your reservation request, we will refund your full payment.
   
2. CANCELLATIONS
   Bookings can be cancelled 72 hours in advance (of check-in date) with fulll refund. No refund will be issued for booking cancellations made under 72 hours (time of receipt of request) of check-in date.
3. CHANGES
   Chagnes to bookings regarding check-in date and room type can be made 72 hours in advance (of check-in date). Any rate differences arising due to room upgrades will be setteled by guest upon arrival at the accomodation. Approval of all changes (by accomodation) are subject to availability and changes can be claimed only if explicitly confirmed.
   

   Changes requested under 72 hours of check-in date are not guaranteed but will be attempted by us and results will be communicated to you.

4. SWITCHING ACCOMODATIONS
   Whereas switching accomodations for confirmed bookings is not possible, previous bookings can be cancelled (as per article above) and a new booking to the desired accomodation can be made.
   No accomodation switching requests are entertained and no refund if such requests are made under 72 hours of check-in date.
5. HOTELS OUTSIDE ADDIS ABABA
   Hotels outside Addis Ababa sometimes give away confirmed room bookings to other guests or increase room rates on the spot. In such an event, we (EHG) will not be responsible. You, the guest, will have to resolve the issue.
   

Once your booking is confirmed, we will send you a booking confirmation which you should bring along to present to the hotel upon arrival. With the reservation confirmation, we will pass on to you any or all the conditions and specific terms that may apply to your booking if provided to us by the accommodation.

Only confirmed room reservation will enable you to claim your room upon arrival.

Check-in and Check-out Time

In most hotels, reserved rooms are available to the customer starting at 12:00 noon on the agreed arrival date. Some accommodations do not acknowledge the right to earlier availability of booked rooms while some avail room to early check-in up on request and confirmation.

In most accommodations, check-out time is from 10:00 to 11:00. Some accommodations might have deviations from this.

After giving you the booking confirmation, we will not be responsible in any way if your booking request can not be guaranteed by the accommodation provider for any reasons. In this most unlikely event, we will be glad to assist you if you give us a call using our contact number provided in the booking confirmation message.

Fast Response

We are based in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. We have close relationships with most of the listed hotels here which enable us to respond with in 24 hours of receiving your request unless some unexpected problem like problem with internet connection in Ethiopia or our hosting company or any other similar problem prohibits us from responding to you.
